The SmartWay program is an initiative by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve fuel efficiency in the transportation sector. The program was launched in 2004 and is a voluntary partnership between the EPA and those in the supply chain.
SmartWay is available to any organization that moves freight in three different types of SmartWay partnerships—SmartWay shippers, SmartWay Logistics Companies like AV Logistics, and SmartWay Carriers, like our sister company, C&K Trucking.
